Melanoma Rates Increase Among Younger Women

I wanted to post this article so that all who visit this blog will read it. It is SO important to wear sunscreen, teach your family and friends the ABCD's of skin cancer so they make spot it early, and practice savvy alternative methods to indoor tanning such as Mystic Tan, instant spray tans and new and improved self tan lotions! Together we can save lives and please remember if caught early skin cancer is nearly 99% curable!

Joy Pfister, Mrs. Virginia International 2008, is a spokesperson for the American Melanoma Foundation (AMF). She is working diligently toward heightening public awareness on the dangers of skin cancer. Through her fashionable sun protective swim and active wear, Kristy J, Joy is offering women around the world an opportunity to improve their skin and reduce the risk of skin cancer.
Kristy J, was offically launched in July 2007 after two full years of concept and development, and donates 5% of its sales directly to the AMF.
